1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Mequlya Auto Service. By accessing our website at mequlya.com or using our vehicle repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Service Description

Mequlya Auto Service provides professional automotive repair and maintenance services for all makes and models of vehicles in Romania. Our services include but are not limited to engine diagnostics and repair, brake service, transmission service, electrical system diagnostics, A/C and heating service, and scheduled maintenance.

While we strive to provide accurate descriptions of our services, we reserve the right to modify, update or discontinue any service without notice.

3. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation

Appointments can be scheduled through our website, by phone, or in person at our location. We request a minimum of 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated missed appointments without notification may result in service restrictions.

4. Service Estimates and Authorization

Prior to performing repairs, we will provide a written estimate of the anticipated cost. Additional work discovered during the repair process that exceeds the estimate by more than 10% will require customer authorization before proceeding. Authorization may be provided in person, via phone, or through email.

If we are unable to reach you for authorization of additional work, we may, at our discretion:

Complete only the work originally authorized
Pause the work until authorization is received
In emergency situations where vehicle safety is concerned, complete necessary additional work

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, major credit cards, and bank transfers. For extensive repairs, we may require a deposit before beginning work. All prices are in Romanian Lei (RON) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Vehicles will not be released until payment has been received in full. Storage fees may apply for vehicles not retrieved within 72 hours after service completion notification.

6. Warranties and Returns

Mequlya Auto Service provides a 24-month/24,000 km warranty on parts and labor, whichever comes first. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials under normal use. The warranty does not cover:

Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, or abuse
Repairs performed by another service provider
Normal wear and tear
Parts specifically excluded from warranty coverage
Vehicles used for commercial purposes (taxis, delivery, etc.) unless specifically agreed

To claim warranty service, customers must present their original invoice and describe the issue.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

Providing accurate information about their vehicle and its issues
Removing personal belongings from the vehicle before service
Following maintenance recommendations to maintain warranty coverage
Promptly reporting any concerns with completed repairs

8. Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mequlya Auto Service's liability for any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service that is the subject of the claim.

We shall not be liable for:

Indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of use, revenue, or profit
Theft of or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle
Pre-existing conditions not caused by our service
Damage caused by parts that were not supplied by us

9. Website Use

The Mequlya website is provided for informational and scheduling purposes only. While we strive to keep the information current and accurate, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the information.

You are prohibited from:

Using the website for any unlawful purpose
Attempting to access restricted areas of the website
Introducing malicious software or harmful code
Using automated systems to access or scrape content
Impersonating another person or entity

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mequlya website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Mequlya Auto Service and is protected by Romanian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is prohibited without express written permission.

11. Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles left at our facility for more than 30 calendar days without payment or communication from the owner will be considered abandoned. Abandoned vehicles may be subject to lien sale procedures in accordance with Romanian law to recover repair, storage, and processing costs.

12. Force Majeure

Mequlya Auto Service shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather events, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

13. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bucharest, Romania.

15. Changes to Terms

Mequlya Auto Service reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
